Beautiful restrained 1930s Linen Tablecloth, soft, well cared for, measuring 104 inches in length and 74 inches in width. All linen with an exquisite oval insert of handworked Reticello style needle lace measuring 5 inches in width and the actual oval measuring 20 inches long by 14 inches in width. On either side of the medallion are the 3 initials ANR ( with N being the family name initial ) 4 inches in height. There is beautiful tracery with hem stitching. This complete set is in excellent condition; there are a couple of tiny stains from dinner parties long ago, but this adds to the charm and authenticity. Comes with a set of 12 napkins, each one monogrammed with the ANR initials. Napkins each measure 20.5 inches square. One can imagine Daisy Buchanan dining at this table with Gatsby at her side!
