Beautiful handmade Madeira vintage, hand-embroidered blue work and fancy needlework filling with cutwork. This is a set of 6 luncheon placemats with matching napkins and runner. The set is very intricate and lovely in design. Each placemat measures about 17 inches by 10 inches, the napkins are about 11 inches square and the runner measures about 17 by 42 inches. All in very nice condition – no wear or holes or thin spots. These are direct from an estate and need to be freshened up since some have light spots/stains which shouldn't be a problem with a soaking, otherwise just fine. A very spectacular Madeira set from the 1950s to enjoy using and adding to your collection of vintage linens.
